In this Illustrator Tutorial we'll create some neat isometric rocks. We'll use a base shape as the starting point and then build it up, add shadows and highlights and transform them into multiple isometric rocks.

Welcome to the second of a three part series on making isometric rocks, stones and boulders using Adobe Illustrator.

These are great to use in your 3d scenes to create things like castles, islands, game assets or even concept art. In this Illustrator Tutorial we’ll create some neat isometric rocks.

We’ll use a base shape as the starting point and then build it up, add shadows and highlights and transform them into multiple isometric rocks.

We’ll use the 3d tools, the Pen Tool and the Pencil Tool and create a full isometric rock formation that you can use in your scene.
